I’ve found myself perusing this site a number of times marveling at the use of color and elements of design so pleasing to the eye. These pieces are wonderful.
I purchased a couple pieces of Jim’s work at the ‘Salt Lake City Art’s Festival’ this past weekend. Of all things at the festival, I was most drawn to his work. Though functional, I find his pottery to be beautiful works of sculpture as well. His forms and details in the clay are unique to anything else I’ve seen at festivals here in the West. These are art pieces that I will enjoy indefinitely!
I’ve been purchasing James’ bowls as wedding gifts for years now. It’s wonderful to be able to give unique, local pieces of work that are beautiful. I also own a couple of pieces myself and they are fabulous. Can’t say enough good about this pottery!
Best teapots EVER. Love your use of colour and the whimsical, sculptural approach to functional art. Next time I come to Oregon I am going to treat myself to a piece of your work.
Work is exquisite, bought our large mirror last year at Art on the Green in Coeur d’ Alene, ID. Hope to see him again this August. Love all the pieces we have.
